Almost, Maine in Hoboken Opens April 2015
Since 2004, Susan Newman Design Inc has been a part of Hudson Theatre Ensemble (HTE) of Hoboken, NJ.
Opening next week is Almost, Maine by John Cariani. This is my eleventh year and 33rd production as the HTE company graphic/web designer. Each year HTE produces three shows, one for adults and two for children with their “Silly on Sixth!” division.
HTE is an intimate theatrical group and most of the staff have been involved as long as I have. I’m always fascinated as someone who works behind the scenes, not in the theater, to see the end result.
A small theater company needs the support of the press who usually help by splashing the latest publicity shots by photographer, John Crittenden, on the cover of the local newspaper and engaging the public to take notice and get those reservations.
