Tara Alemany, Aleweb Social Marketing

Listen is as Susan Newman (aka Suzy Brandtastic) interviews Tara R. Alemany, an inspirational author, speaker, social marketing consultant and publisher.

Tara has authored two books, and co-authored or contributed to three others. Her latest book, The Best is Yet to Come, was released in November, and shares the lessons learned while overcoming the unexpected death of her fiancé in October 2011. And she has recently released a revised edition of her first book, The Plan that Launched a Thousand Books, a DIY guide to marketing and promoting your own books.

Tara speaks frequently on social media, publishing and inspirational topics, and is the creator and host of The Survivors Summit, a virtual inspirational conference held in November, where she brings together powerful speakers with amazing stories of overcoming adversity to create lives of power, passion and purpose.

Tara is the owner and founder of Aleweb Social Marketing, a consulting company that helps authors, speakers and entrepreneurs achieve their online business goals. Aleweb offers services ranging from book preparation (editing, formatting and publishing under their Emerald Lake Books imprint) through to website and social profile development, and the training and strategies required to reach your target market with your unique message.

She is also the creator of The Bite-Sized Marketer, a video tutorial subscription service that guides you through the process of marketing yourself online, one bite at a time. The Romance Writers of America will be featuring this program in an upcoming article Tara was interviewed for on “Using LinkedIn for Authors.”

She is launching The Best is Yet to Come Mastermind Series in October, which is designed to help serious business people achieve serious business results.

Tara’s thoughts and insights have also been included in articles on Carol Roth’s Business Unplugged, Marketing Sherpa and Bank of America’s Small Business brief, and her content has been reprinted in SOLDLab magazine.

In addition to consulting, writing and speaking, Tara serves on the Boards of Directors for a Christian writers’ critique group and is Chaplain of that same group. In her spare time, she is a novice wine maker, a martial artist, a juggler, Mom to 2 teenagers (one of each), step-Mom to 2 dogs (one of each) and is owned by a black cat.
