Worst Business Marketing Plan Ever
Want to learn how to NOT be the card taped to my wall with a big black arrow pointing at it that says “NO?”
I was at a gathering of entrepreneurs and learning so much from the speaker talking. The person sitting next to me, who I had never met before leans over and whispers something in my ear. Let’s just say it was very rude. Not only was it inappropriate but disrespectful of my time since I was engrossed in what the speaker was saying. (and disrespectful toward the speaker too!)
So of course now I’m distracted in my mind and thinking about the rude comment, when I should have been taking notes. This person was in my head. The next day also. Then I started thinking why would a total stranger say something so wrong.
Was the intention exactly this? To walk around the room, say something rude to an assortment of people and then for the next day or so, we can’t shake the person or comment? Now of course because I always give people the benefit of the doubt, I’m thinking, could this be their marketing plan? or the worst business marketing plan ever?
Yes I’m still thinking about it, but not in a good way. You can be sure no business will be done between us, that’s for sure.
