Helping Women To Bust Through Their Blocks To Get A Life & Business That ROCKS!
Kelly Lynn Adams International LLC
How long has your company been in business? Please tell us a bit about your company, its mission, goals…
I started my business in September 2010. Prior to that I had built a successful business with a network marketing company Arbonne International.
I wanted to start Kelly Lynn Adams International LLC to empower, inspire & motivate women entrepreneurs to achieve their maximum potential to help transform their business & to help women create emotional, physical, spiritual and financial abundance.
Through my own transformation of turning “inward” to find abundance, happiness, & inner peace, while learning how to embody self-love and build a successful business, I wanted to share my knowledge and experience with as many women as I could and leave a legacy for the next generation of women.
Women entrepreneurs can have it all, sometimes we just have certain blocks that can keep us from obtaining all that we want and deserve to have. I help women bust through their blocks to get a life and business that ROCKS! I work with clients through virtual one-on-one private, and group coaching programs/mastermind groups and customized energy assessments. I am also a motivational speaker and co-founder of Make It Happen, Girl brand which is a workshop/lecture series for women that focuses on topics like abundance, sexuality and business.
My intention is to shift the world one woman and one business at a time by helping entrepreneurs get from where they are to where they want to be. My purpose is to empower, motivate and inspire women to live the best life possible while helping them embody self-love and self-confidence.
Do you donate to charities? Tell us about that also and why.
Yes, we currently donate to Women for Women International and Kiva which are organizations that help the advancement of women and help create opportunity around the world. We also donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Association since my brother was diagnosed with Diabetes at a very young age.
Also we are currently looking into donating to a cancer foundation since I lost both my grandfather and uncle to cancer.
How did you know what typeface (font) would be right for your company wordmark or logo? If your logo has an illustration, describe why that art was the right thing, animal, place, object, etc…
I wanted my logo/font to be fun, simple and girlie so my designer captured what I wanted perfectly for my website.
How did you decide on the right color palette to fit your company look and feel?
My favorite color is pink (all shades) so my decision was simple in knowing what color I wanted represented in my logo! I also love the way brown and pink look together. Pink is not only my favorite color but pink is the color of happiness and is known to represent fun, excitement and high energy (which totally represents me)!
How did you decide which type of designer to work with, or did you design your own identity and web presence?
My aunt is a very talented and successful artist so I had her design my website banner! I also worked with coaches to help further develop my identity and web presence!
In what order did you present your company to the world? Did you start with marketing and products, or website, blog and social media?
I started with a website/blog as well as social media at the same time.
How long after the launch of your company did you start pitching in social media?
I have been on social media for a while and had been using it for my Arbonne business, so when I launched my coaching and speaking business I started using social media right away.
Did you do research or study any software, take webinars, teleclasses, before approaching any area of your marketing or web presence?
Not specifically. I was watching what others that I admired were doing in regards to their marketing and web presence and just adapted what I liked into my business. If I had a question or wanted to learn something I would research it on my own ~ Google is my best friend for researching things I want to learn more about!!
Do you advertise locally in newspapers and/or nationally in magazines? Are they effective?
No, I do not advertise in local or national newspapers or magazines.
Do you advertise online using Google, Facebook or on other company sites? Are they effective?
I do not advertise using Google or Facebook. However, I do promote myself and services on Facebook and Twitter as well as other people’s blogs if they want to feature me or ask me if they can share my services, articles or any videos.
When you printed your products, packaging, business cards and other print marketing did you choose an online printer or visit a local vendor?
I choose an online printer.
Did you know anything about different types of papers, when you wanted to print your marketing materials?
No.
Have you ever used “green” technology in printing, using FSC certified papers or recycled paper and if not, how likely are you at trying this on a next project?
Yes, I use recycled paper and would like to continue to use it on all my projects.
If you sell products, are they produced in the USA or abroad?
They are formulated in Switzerland and Made in the U.S.A.
Is there anything you haven’t yet tackled, but will want to do soon?
Yes, write a best-selling book and do A LOT more speaking!’
