How to Link Amazon to WordPress

Hi, this is Susan, from Susan Newman Design, and we’re at Mission 50 in Hoboken, learning WordPress. In this video, we’re gonna learn how to link Amazon to our WordPress blog. We’re on a site that’s using WordPress for its content management system, and in this video we’re going to learn how to link Amazon to WordPress. Now, let’s say that you just published a book, and now you want to sell it on Amazon. So you’re gonna want to put the information and the picture of the book and all of that good stuff on your book page, and then right here you’ll see that I have a link that says to purchase the kindle version click here. So what you would do is you would go to Amazon, you would get the link of that book, and then you would open the book page here, and you would just highlight the text here, click on the link icon to add a link. There you go, see, and you would put that in and I’m gonna add a little title here. And then you would just update the page. Now let’s say you want to do it in reverse. You want to bring people on Amazon over to your WordPress page. So on Amazon, if you don’t already have one, you should have an account and a profile. And you’ll see I have my profile page open here, and you’ll see if we scroll down over here, and I’m gonna blow it up, you’ll see that you can add a link to your website right here. And so, you would put your WordPress address right in there. And that’s how you can link up Amazon and WordPress. I hope this video was helpful.
