Spring Bouquets: Poetry, Prose and Song

On a snowy first night of spring, thirty people gathered at 942 Summit Ave for Pershing Field Garden Friends’ Fundraiser Spring Bouquets – an evening of poetry, prose and song to benefit the gardens at Pershing Field. The warm and inviting venue and tasty treats were provided by Kelley & Ryan of Do You Tea?, Stephanie of WHOS Gluten Free Bakery and Niambi of Bloomsbury Square.

The first in the Solstice Series was emceed by PFGF’s very own Mauro Altamura. Reading were Laryssa Wirstiuk, Dawn Ryan and James Ruggia, who shared their poetry and prose. Chrissy Roberts and Katja Larssen rounded out the night in song.
